European Mobility Expo 2024 in Strasbourg

Lecture / Reading / Lectura : 2 minutes / minutos

The European Mobility Expo will take place this year in Strasbourg from 1st to 3rd of October 2024. Its aim is to gather mobility professionals from all over the world (manufacturers, service providers, public transport authorities and operators, local authorities and many other partners…).

With its six tram lines, including line D, cross-border with Germany, and an attractive bus network, including two High Level Bus Service lines and six Chron’hop structuring lines, the city of Strasbourg can be proud to have been selected to host such an event. Especially since the 30th anniversary of the return of the tram to Strasbourg will soon be celebrated!

Thus, every 2 years, the European Mobility Expo gives mobility professionals the opportunity to share their expertise on political, technical and/or financial subjects, to inspire each other, to improve public transport networks in their respective metropolis/city, to build professional relationships, …

Until September 5th 2024, you have the opportunity to vote for the talents of mobility who have impressed you the most with their commitment, innovation, creativity, professionalism, … in 4 categories (one vote per category): Best Young Talent, Best Project Manager, Best Manager, Special Award for the Entire Career.

Personally, I particularly appreciated the following initiatives:

  • The development of a CSR policy within Transdev GmbH by Carolin Horrmann
  • The personalization of driver schedules by Alexis Leveaux
  • The preparation of the implementation of the Paris/Vienna and Paris/Berlin night train by Thibaut Schaeffer
  • The centralization of urban mobility offers in one application by Omar Chaudhary

  • Driver training including immersion in depots and meeting with maintenance staff, in particular for an improved integration process within the company by Fiona Guthrie
  • The implementation of a culture of health and safety at work and an environmental commitment with the elimination of phytosanitary products by Jean-Bruno Delrue
  • The promotion of co-construction workshops to foster cooperation between cross-functional departments and subsidiaries by Antoine Fins

Far from wanting to influence your choice, I invite you to read the descriptions and vote according to your own sensitivity. You have 4 days left to give your vote!
